Privacyware's Privatefirewall 4.0 adds antispyware
protection based on CA's eTrust PestPatrol to its
existing personal firewall product. With one click
Privatefirewall can enable security settings appropriate
to Home, Office, or Mobile. It stealths all ports,
making the computer invisible to hackers, and allows
only authorized applications to access the network or
Internet. Its Email Anomaly Detection module can detect
e-mail viruses and worms and prevent them from
spreading. And its simplified user interface makes it
easy for users to manage and configure the protection it
offers.
